Late Shri Shankar Lal ji started his tea business in 1974 with a mission to bring the best quality tea to people of Kumaon. Known for his hard work, honesty, and dedication, he would taste up to 1,000 cups of tea in a single day to select the finest leaves from Assam’s best tea gardens. His goal was simple: to ensure that every customer enjoyed top-quality tea. Shri Gupta’s commitment and passion for quality tea remain a guiding principle to this day
Shri Bhagwan Dass Gupta ji, the inspiration behind the Shankar Tea business, was a man of unwavering principles who valued purity, integrity, and quality.
